Finally A Direction!
Before getting back into this blog I want to apologize for starting, stopping, then get going again. I know that is; bad but I have to be honest, I just did not know where to take this blog and I felt lost as any ship deep at sea with no compass, light, or sun to direct me.
Finally, I think God has placed a thought in my heart that I can latch on to and then deliver the message I have always wanted to deliver - "This country is special, a gift from God, and a shining beacon for the rest of mankind!"
To deliver that message; one must understand why the message is so important to them and maybe why it is so important to the rest of the world. I am going to ask God to help me with this message and hopefully point me in the right direction and be our Light and Compass.
So if I believe the message, then what is the thought running around in my head. I think in this day and age it should be a simple answer but it is very complex and confusing, and I think it is supposed to be like the. Why is that, God tells us if we seek the truth we will find it. Not sure any of us have the answers, only God does; but as he says, if we seek we should find the answer.
I am positive he did not mean the answer to my question; was there a real plan for the USA just like Israel. He is talking more about us seeking Him and we will find Him. But like all people, I will use his words to help in my argument. It is yours to see if I might be right.
The Founding Premise To My Answer
I was going to prove that Christianity did bring forth this great country - but if you know anything about the United States and our history - you know that. There are also many people out there who have put together great books that I read to prove history. So I do not need to re-invent the wheel in that space.
So me repeating history is not going to help if great authors cannot get your attention. I am not a great author or historian, so I would have to do a lot of reading of history and I will. So each of these posts will come slowly after doing research.
But here is what is in my heart and makes more sense to me when you think of our Founding Fathers and the guidance they must have received from God.
Jews, Muslims, and Christians all worship the exact same God. We do it in different ways as we follow the Covenant we believe in. The Jews believe in the covenant God made with Abraham, the Muslims believe in the Covenant God made to Ismael, and us Christians believe in the the Covenant with God poured out through his Son's Crucifixion. If that is true, then how can we all come together at some point and time and worship the same God.
Without the United States, this could never happen. Only the United States has set forth Religious freedom for all; even those who do not want to worship God.
So what needs to happen in this blog? I need to take this premise and prove it so that you may find it in your heart to look at this blog, share it, and understand this great country cannot change without the course of the world taking a turn for the worse - not better.
As people want to drive this great country to a new Social order; something I believe God would not want, then they drive us from the face of God and away from his blessings and honor.
So my job is simple, prove to you I am right and this country must stay a strong Christian country and it is just as important for us Christians to fight for it today as our forefathers and ll the great generations that come after them.
So sit back, take a seat, and enjoy this ride from a simple man who really has know answers. Just a simple desire that we do not turn our backs on this country. To me it is just as important for us to save this country and its morale compass as it is to save our own soul.
Heavenly Father, open our minds and hearts to a potential message you want us to understand. I can only be an instrument of your words and thoughts as without you I am nothing. It is by your Divine leadership we might see some of what you see.
